James Warner

James was head of Coopers & Lybrand and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Global Supply Chain practice until 2002. With an Engineering degree from Cambridge, James' early career was in line management at Mars where he lead teams in distribution and purchasing before becoming a factory manager. He specialises in end-to-end Supply Chain Strategy and Performance Improvement.

    John Sewell

Prior to joining Tamarack John was Senior Vice President, Global Planning and Logistics with Reckitt Benckiser, covering all aspects of customer service and availability worldwide. John has led a series of supply chain strategies for both retailers and manufacturers with Tamarack Partners and at Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has an MBA from the London Business School.

    Sam Smale

Sam started in the computer industry before moving to Coopers & Lybrand where he specialised in ERP planning processes and systems. In 1991 he founded a software company, where he worked with major household names such as Thorn, Unipart and SmithKlineBeecham. More recently as a visiting fellow at Cranfield University he developed and ran supply chain and e-procurement courses for their MSc programme. Sam has spent over 17 years as an independent consultant specialising in the Supply Chain area. Sam graduated from Cambridge with degrees in Engineering and Operational Research.

    Guy Brammer

Guy worked in production management at Nestle for 5 years, managing one of their plants, before joining Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1994. He now specialises in manufacturing and supply chain planning and strategy, focusing mainly on CPG  (Consumer Packaged Goods), Pharmaceutical, Aerospace and Retail sectors. He has a first Class degree in Biology and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry. He is currently supporting the major Supply Chain Transformation of an Australian retailer.

    Jon Nicholas

Prior to Tamarack Jon worked for the third party logistics provider, Exel, developing business internationally. He previously had a very successful career with Coopers & Lybrand working on Logistics Strategy for both Retailers and Manufacturers in the UK and Abroad. He has a 1st Class degree in Operational Research. He returned to the UK in 2003 to join Tamarack.

    Max Crane-Robinson

Max has a manufacturing background - previously responsible for making all Northern Europes Fairy Liquid for Procter and Gamble. After a first class career with C&L he became Process Director for The Spirit Group (major UK Pub Company) delivering strategic plans and supporting the integration of Scottish Courage Retail into its portfolio. He has also set up and successfully sold an upmarket overseas property rental business before joining Tamarack. His particular emphasis is on network strategy and planning excellence. He is an Engineering Graduate of Cambridge, and Oxford, Universities.

    Paul Cook

Paul is a professional statistician who successfully combines this skill with a deep knowledge of supply chain – he is also an excellent project manager. Prior to a five year career within PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Supply Chain Practice he developed forecasting and allocation systems for News International and managed the creation and communication of key UK economic statistics for the Office for National Statistics. He has an MSc with Distinction in Applied Statistics and Economics.
